The iconic Spanish City has returned to rekindle its love affair with the residents and visitors of Whitley Bay.
Originally completed in 1910, ‘The Dome’ became a hub of activity and interest, not only because it was home to many attractions, but because of its stunning architecture and unique design.
After falling into decline Spanish City reopened following a restoration project that saw historical features brought back to their former glory. Inside the famous landmark are new leisure facilities including Trenchers Restaurant & Takeaway (awarded the Best Fish and Chip Restaurant in UK 2020), the renowned 1910 steak and seafood restaurant, Valerie’s Tearoom, The Champagne Bar and an award-winning wedding and event space
